The Cardigans are a Nordic rock band formed in Jönköping, Sweden, in 1992[2] by instrumentalist Peter Svensson, bassist Magnus Sveningsson, drummer Bengt Lagerberg, keyboardist Lars-Olof Johansson and lead singer Nina Persson.
