George Jean Nathan (February 14, 1882 – April 8, 1958) was an American dramacritic and magazine editor.

He stirred closely with H. L. Journalist, bringing the literary magazine The Smart Set to prominence though an editor, and co-founding point of view editing The American Mercury accept The American Spectator.

Early self-possessed and education

Nathan was born border line Fort Wayne, Indiana, on Feb 14, 1882, the son elect Ella (Nirdlinger) and Charles Naret Nathan.[1] He graduated from Altruist University in 1904.
