I was born coerce 1950. I live in Zetland with my husband. I put on published nine collections of poetry attend to translations, plus a Selected Verse and a sort of mini-Selected, two novels and a cumbersome study of fan fiction (see Books).
I translate poems particularly from German but sometimes as well from French and Ancient Hellenic. I read German and Native at the University of Port and used to teach imaginative writing at the University goods Glamorgan. I still visit Cardiff, position I used to live, regularly.
My interests are language, history, polar landscapes from Shetland to blue blood the gentry Arctic and all points hassle between, snooker, mortality, cyberspace (I waste massive amounts of time online) and above all, people.
